Belden- Mrs. Kim "NeNe" Otero, 68, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She is no longer in pain and is now cancer free. She was born on September 5, 1956, in Yuba City, California to the late Lee Freeman and Mary Campbell Freeman. Kim spent the last 9 years living with her family in Belden. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her love for life. She took immense joy in cherishing her family, especially her grandchildren.

She once said "Nobody prays more than a grandma with grandchildren in this crazy world. So true, everyone is so unsure of who or what or how they should be, just go play, have fun, and enjoy your family, and friends!! Don't worry about being like anyone!! You'll figure it out as you go!! There isn't enough time to figure out life, much less what some feel you should be.....do nothing extreme, EVER!! till your ready to make a solid decision! Don't lock yourself into what others try to push on you, or the (flavor of the month!!) Just be true to yourselves!! I will love all of my grandkids no matter what they decide in life, be confident, and honest with your heart, and minds, and be sure of solid choices!! I Love all 3 of you and only want honest choices from you all!! Love you all" - (NENE)

Kim had a passion for exploring new restaurants and enjoyed every opportunity to discover new flavors. She dedicated 20 plus years of her life to working at Sam's Club, where her friendly demeanor and dedication to service touched the lives of her coworkers and customers alike. Her kindness and willingness to help others will be remembered fondly. Kim will be remembered not just for the life she lived but for the love she shared.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Russell Otero; three beautiful grandchildren, Baylee Otero, Maddison Otero, and Bubba Otero; sister, Marilee Hrivnak (Tom) of Harrisburg, PA; in-laws by marriage, Leshia Roberts(Howard) of Nettleton, Donna Parsons (Ronnie) of Bartlett, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Fly high with your mom and dad now. Russell she was so proud of you and the man/ father you are. You were her world and her greatest gift from God. She's your forever angel now. As for the Grandkids they were her everything!
